It has been predicted that in a few years, there will be more conversational agents (CAs) than humans on this planet. But what conversations are we having, and what conversations could we be having?
In this collaboration, we are curiously probing, interogating, interviewing and speculating with CAs such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Siri. An important aspect of this work is to expose the hidden biases and logics of these systems, and imagine other possible ways of designing CAs.
